MIP Project Scope
MIP Organisation MIP Key Personnel
MI-Partners has extensive experience in developing mechatronic systems. Many of those systems are developed for the high-tech precision industry.
MI-Partners has experience in designing and testing seismic sources which they are contributing to WP4. In 2010-2011 a new seismic source www.mi-partners.nl/seismic_vibrator was developed which can achieve high repeatability and controllability for seismic monitoring purposes. This source, based on electromagnetic actuation, can generate excitations between 2 and 200 Hz. Traditional seismic sources are based on hydraulics and the frequency range is limited from 5 Hz upwards.
